I gave the feedback mentioned in the body of the present meta-question. IIRC the concept was Directed Acyclic Graphs, and my comment on the tune of: "a concept being related to cryptocurrencies does not make it necessarily related to cryptography, which is our only topic". Somewhat I fail to find the question, and my exact feedback, but I remember "opinion-based" was an unrelated reason for closing.
Proof by example of what's asked in title, and of the assertion between quotes: the concept of currency is related to cryptocurrencies; yet it's not related to cryptography per a common definition.
Alternate argument, admittedly using mathematical terms out of their charted territory: "related to" is a symmetric but often non-transitive relation.
